As a part of the Centre collégial de transfert de technologie (CCTT) network, the Aerospace Technology Center (CTA) supports businesses and organizations in innovation through technical support, technological development, information and training. Together with the 58 other CCTTs, which are under the authority of CEGEPs, the CTA is an organization recognized by the ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur, de la Recherche et de la Science (MESRS). The CTA is part of the Synchronex Network.
CTA's mandate is to carry out applied research, technical assistance and information activities in the field of aerospace. Its mission is to provide its clients and partners, mainly Québec‑based SMEs, with value-added services in terms of support for aerospace innovation and development, enabling them to increase their knowledge, productivity and competitiveness as well as the quality of their products and services.
The CTA team consists of approximately 70 people working in research and development in various technical fields including machining, composite materials, dimensional inspection, non-destructive testing, and the development and integration of aeronautical systems.
